About Corrine Hertz
My name is Corrine Hertz, and I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for 7 years here in Asheville, NC. I graduated from the Center for Massage and Natural Health in 2018, and since then, I’ve continually expanded my expertise through continuing education in techniques such as muscle tension release, Sarga (barefoot massage), cupping, and trigger point therapy.
I’m deeply passionate about helping clients identify their unique needs, reconnect with their bodies, and understand the importance of relaxation for overall health and well-being. My goal as a therapist is to release tension from your body and guide you into a state of deep relaxation with every breath.
My connection to massage therapy began early in life. As an avid athlete, I was frequently in need of muscle relief to keep my body performing at its best. Over time, I recognized the critical role self-care played in maintaining my physical well-being, and I began developing techniques to relieve muscle tension not only for myself but for friends and family as well. It wasn’t until after graduating from Warren Wilson College in 2015 that I decided to pursue massage therapy as a full-time profession.
In addition to my work as a massage therapist, I’m currently deepening my understanding of injury rehabilitation through my role as a Physical Therapy Technician (2022-2024). This experience has further enriched my ability to support my clients' healing and recovery, allowing me to offer a more holistic approach to their care.
When I’m not helping clients feel their best, you can find me outdoors, living my best life—whether I’m mountain biking, road cycling, whitewater kayaking, practicing yoga, cooking for friends, or caring for my two beloved pets.
